Mumbai fast becoming unsafe for women

Mumbai is often considered as one of the safest cities for women in India. But recent statistics
reveal another story. In the first six months of 2008, crime against women in Mumbai has increased
by 25 per cent. The number of cases registered in the first half of the year alone has increased by
over 150 compared to 2007.
