The Wireless Application of BIGADDA or BIGADDA on Mobile allows you to stay connected to your friends on BIGADDA on the go without a laptop or internet connection. You can do almost of the activities that you do online using your computer, on your mobile.
BIGADDA on Mobile is especially help to those of you who cannot access BIGADDA on your computers due to restriction in your home/workplace.
You will only need a valid BIGADDA Id and a mobile phone number.

NO! Your mobile numbers is strictly confidential and we will not be displaying/ sharing it anywhere on BIGADDA.
No! Please be assured that your Mobile number will never be shared on search or any other activities.
Go to Manage accounts and click on Mobile. You can update your mobile number here. In case you have changed your mobile number, go to manage account click on mobile and then click on 'change now' to update your mobile number.
BIGADDA SMS Alerts keep you in touch with your friends even when you are offline (i.e not logged on to BIGADDA using a computer and internet connection). You will receive alerts when:
1. Friends scribble you when you are offline (2 SMS per day only)
2. Other users add you as a friend (Add requests)
You need a Valid BIGADDA ID and you need to activate BIGADDA on Mobile to be able to receive these alerts.

Go to the manage accounts page and click on Notifications and enable the SMS notifications
Yes, you can respond to the SMS alerts you get . For Add requests, simply click on "reply" and send YES if you want to accept and add the user as a friend OR No if you want to decline the request. If you do not know who the user is simple send "GET <ProfileID>" to 55454
For Scribbles, simply click on reply and type in the message you want to send the user and click on send. The scribble will be automatically send to the user
As of now we have launched with only these two alerts. Please write to
Mobilehelp@bigadda.com and send us list of SMS alerts you would like to receive from BIGADDA and we shall get back to you as soon as possible.
Go to Manage account and click on notifications, see if the alerts check boxes are checked. If they are not checked we will not send you any alerts.
BIGADDA will also stop sending you alerts of you send STOP as an SMS to 55454. You can restart the alerts by sending START to 55454
BIGADDA sends you alerts on new activity for that day only. So in case you have received 4 new friends requests in a day and 2 new scribbles today BIGADDA will send you only 2 of these (first come first serve) when you respond via SMS on any of these you will get 2 more alerts. In case you do not respond to any of these you will not receive any further alerts that day. These do NOT get carried over to the next day.
This service is currently available on Airtel, Aircel, BPL, BSNL, Spice, Idea, Reliance GSM, Reliance India, Tata Indicom and Vodafone. We hope to activate this service on other networks soon.
These services are available only on wireless networks.
You need to send an sms to 55454. Sms 'TEXT' to 55454 to get the list of keywords.
You can do a quite a bit on SMS. You can see profiles of users on sms. Send scribbles to your friends on sms, you can add friends, accept decline friendship requests on sms and lot more. You just need to remember the keywords.

The Sms alerts are free of cost. The sms you send to 55454 are charged at normal VAS SMS rates.
