Planet Alert

Description: We have entered a period of crisis and how do we come out of it? Earth is the only planet in our solar system that harbours life, and human beings are the only form on Earth that have the ability to affect the conditions that we live in. We have taken the resources that the planet gave us for advantage and turned it against ourselves, so much so that every action of ours has affected the Earth’s ecological system. Planet Alert is India’s first ‘peoples’ movement to combat a climate in peril. Announced by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and an initiative by GYAAN. Partnered by Associations and supported by eminent celebrities and environment advocates, this 5 month campaign features a series of concerts, green marathons, youth programs, radio campaigns, conferences and film showcasings throughout the country. Alert Ambassador, Rahul Bose has rightly said, ‘It is time for us to stand up, and seize our future. After all, this is a Planet Alert’’.
